IES Eunate BHI is a  Secondary School created in 1997 by the Government of Navarre. It is located in Txantrea, a neighbourhood of about 20.000 inhabitants in the north of Pamplona. The lingua franca is Basque, but we also have Spanish, French and, of course, English subjects. We teach compulsory secondary education (12-16 years old students) and Bachelor in three itineraries: scientific, technological and social sciences (16-18 years old students).

It is a public school and surrounded by private centers. This was causing our school had less demand and so we asked to be part of the bilingual sections within the offer of the Department of Education, to teach subjects in CLIL. Thanks to the teaching of bilingual sections in English and French, school enrollment has recovered attracting more and more students. We are also a collaborator with the Official Distance Language School center of Navarra (EOIDNA). We prepare students for the qualification corresponding to their training level: B2 of Basque; B1 of English; A2 and B1 of French. The Bilingual Sections in English and French have improved the results of the EOIDNA exceeding the average approved in Navarre which stands at 50% on enrollment. In addition, more and more students get the B2 or Cambridge First Certificate in English.
