25/10/2016 JOENSUU: Meeting for students and immigrants
17 of our students met 8 immigrants at Lyseo high school. We also had 6 counselors with us.
First we ate snacks and split into smaller groups. We played different board games and got to know each other better. It was interesting to fing out more about their background and their lives.
Some had studied finnish longer than others, but we still found a way to communicate well with each other.
The time passed quickly and it seemed that everybody had a great time. We are excited to meet everyone again.
