The project coordinators had a meeting in Joensuu, May 2017, to go through all the activities done during the first school year of the project and close all the issues concerning it (evaluation done by schools, coordinators, teachers and students). We checked the blog, agreed where we should enter any information on it and finish publishing documents, pictures and evaluations. Then we started planning next school year’s mobilities checking the pros and cons of the ones done in 2016-17 and decided the data to hold them. We talked also about the activities both school propose for the next school year; continuing those that were appropriate and thinking about some new ones if the evaluation had not been so good.
Eunate B.H.I. coordinators attended a very interesting meeting with the teachers in charge of the electronic exams at Joensuu Lyseon Lukio; a totally new process for us because we have not these type of examination in our country. Eunate B.H.I.’s headmistress was also there to know the school and the Finnish education system and to consolidate the good relations between the schools.
We worked hard on the project but we had also time to greet our Finnish colleagues, to check the stunning views of Koli and to know a little bit of the history of Orthodox Church in the surrounding area. Thanks for all of that, Sari, Anu, Pauliina and Petri!
